Welcome to CITY ON A HILL!

CITY ON A HILL United Methodist Church (COAH) was launched in 2006 with a group of 35 adults and we continue to grow today with over 500 men, women, and children who call COAH their faith family.   We strive to extend an unconditional welcome; to glorify God in worship; to grow deeper in our walk with Christ, and to live out that faith empowered by the Holy Spirit in mission both locally and globally.  Certainly, as our name suggests (which comes from something Jesus said when describing his followers in Matthew 5:13-16), we want to make a difference anyone can see. That begins with life transformation as one begins to embrace God’s grace in their lives and as we seek to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community and this world.   

 

You are welcome here!  Whether you have questions or doubts about faith or organized religion; we welcome you here!  Whether you have never been involved in a church before or recently moved into the area and looking for a faith family; you are welcome here!  If you are curious about what following Jesus looks like in real ways with real people; you are welcome here.  We’ll be the first ones to admit that we’re not perfect. We’re actually far from it. If that’s something you can relate with though, you’ll fit right in.  We hope you will join us.  We are CITY ON A HILL.
